Internacional 1-0 America: Late Moises intervention gives Internacional a home win

America Mineiro on away loss to Internacional at Estadio Beira-Rio on Tuesday. Internacional wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Ceará in their previous game. America had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 1-0 victory against Goiás EC. At the moment, Internacional are in 3rd place, with 28 points from 16 matches, while America sit in 15th, with 18 points from 16.

After an uneventful first half, Internacional applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Moises found the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Internacional included Wesley, Mauricio, Caio Vidal, Johnny and Gabriel Boschilia for Taison, David, Pedro Henrique, Heitor and Carlos De Pena, repectively. America brought on Carlos Alberto, Matheusinho, Danilo Avelar, Aloisio and Iago Maidana, to replace Alexandre Egea, Indio Ramirez, Marlon Matheus, Felipe Azevedo and Pedrinho.

The referee booked German Conti, Lucas Kal and Luan Patrick for America.

Internacional will next travel to Athletico Paranaense, while America will face Red Bull Bragantino at home.
