Flamengo 1 – Mineiro 0: Visitors unable to get win at Maracana

Flamengo enjoyed a home victory against Atl. Mineiro at Maracana on Sunday. Flamengo were looking to continue their good run after winning last match. Mineiro, meanwhile, had managed to pick up a point in their matchup with Ceará. Flamengo are currently 3rd with 55 points from 32 matches, while Mineiro sit in 7th, with 47 points from 32.

Flamengo started the first half well, when Everton found the net, 38 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-0. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Flamengo included Mateusao, Werton Almeida, Igor and Daniel Cabral for Matheus Franca, Marinho, Everton and Victor Hugo Gomes Silva, respectively. Mineiro brought on Cristian Pavon, Ademir, Eduardo Vargas, Alan Kardec and Mariano, to replace Keno, Otavio, Ignacio Fernandez, Hulk and Guga.
