On Sunday, Ceará and Internacional were held to a 1-1 draw at Estadio Castelao. Ceará wanted to continue adding points after a 1-1 draw against Atlético Goianense. Internacional were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-0 victory against Coritiba. After today’s result, Ceará and Internacional currently occupy 15th and 6th spots in the table, with 17 points and 24 points respectively after 15 matches.

Ceará started strongly in the first half, when Vinicius Lima gave Ceará the lead at the 19 minute mark. However, their lead was short lived, as Moises equalised for Internacional at the 23 minute mark, concluding the first half 1-1. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-1 at full time.

Substitutions for Ceará included Kelvyn, Matheus Peixoto, Dentinho, Geovane and Joao Victor for Erick, Ze Roberto, Kelvyn, Richardson and Vinicius Lima, repectively. Internacional brought on Cadorini, Estevao, Gabriel, Mauricio and Gabriel Mercado for Wesley, Thauan Lara, Johnny, Moises and Taison.

The referee booked Richardson, Richard, Iury Lirio and Nino Paraiba from Ceará. Internacional had the worst of it though, with Moises, Taison and Heitor seeing yellow, and Cadorini then sent off with a red.

Ceará will play their next fixture away against Fluminense, while Internacional will face America Mineiro at home.
