Of pure centre forwards, only Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane rated better than Haaland, who shared the 88 mark with Romelu Lukaku and Luis Suarez.

Erling Haaland’s overall rating on FIFA 21 was 84. On top of his gold in Ultimate Team, he had 11 other cards, including a pair of Bundesliga Player of the Month special editions and his top-of-the-range 95-rated Team of the Season card.

With maxed out sprint speed, finishing, curve, strength, shot power, reactions and composure, Haaland’s Team of the Season was a monster for defenders to deal with.

Given his rapid career growth, Erling Haaland FIFA 21 cards was just his fourth year in the EA Sports franchise.

Playing for Molde, Haaland first featured in Ultimate Team back in FIFA 18. He then had silver, 67 overall cards with both Salzburg and Molde in FIFA 19 alongside a fun 76-rated Team of the Week with the Austrian club.

Erling Haaland FIFA 22 gold card has hovered between 25,000 and 30,000 coins.

The price plateaued at this level a couple of weeks after the game was released with occasional spikes depending on SBCs being released and troughs when there was massive pack supply.

As of January 26th 2022, Haaland has just one special card in FIFA 22. Unlike previous seasons, there are no in forms just yet. Instead, Haaland received one of the top cards in the rulebreakers promo.

This 90 overall card sees a boost across the board for Haaland’s attributes. While all the key striker stats get an increase, it’s the passing that makes the most notable leap, going from 65 to 90.

His curve goes up by 20 (vital for those finesse shots), and he becomes a free-kick maestro.

Erling Haaland FIFA 22 rulebreaker seems to have settled around the half million range. It’s lowest point was just below 400,000 on Xbox in mid-January.

This number could drop further if other desirable Bundesliga striker options are released or when Haaland inevitably gets a mid-nineties card later in the game.

FIFA 22 Strengths

Erling Haaland is a complete centre forward. He’s a threat in the air at 6’4, he’s quicker than most defenders and his strength makes him a menace with his back to goal.

The rulebreakers card is particularly lethal thanks to the improved curve, while his gold was able to overpower defenders in the first few weeks of the game.

Haaland’s gold is one of eight standard cards with 93 or better finishing. Cristiano Ronaldo is the only one of those players who can match Haaland’s shot power.

FIFA 22 Weaknesses

Unfortunately, Haaland’s FIFA 22 cards haven’t been well received. The vast majority of FIFA players prefer lither attackers.

Haaland’s sizeable frame might make him impactful with his back to goal, but the 75 agility on his gold and 81 on his rulebreakers isn’t enough for many gamers.

The gold card also comes up short with the ball due to subpar dribbling. The playmaking leaves plenty to be desired – Haaland’s link-up play is disappointing due to 51 long passing.

While the rulebreaker covers for many of these flaws, the body type is an unsolvable issue. Haaland feels clunky. He’s slow to turn and cannot create space for a shot. The three-star marks on skill moves and weak foot ability are a problem late in the game’s cycle.

Ultimately, Erling Haaland in FIFA 22 is limited. He’s a fun card to use at times, but he’s not nimble enough to be particularly effective.

There are better options than his rulebreaker at the current price, and the gold is no more than SBC fodder.
