Spezia 1-0 Empoli: Spezia make a solid start to new season at the Stadio Alberto Picco

Spezia Calcio made a fine start in the new Serie A campaign with victory against Empoli. Today’s result, Spezia are in 8th place in the table and have 3 points while Empoli sit in 17th with 0 points after 1 match.

The first half of the match started well for Spezia, with a goal from M’bala Nzola in the 36th minute, saw out the first half 1-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-0.
