Juventus beat Sassuolo with a thumping 2-1 victory on Monday at the MAPEI Stadium. Sassuolo were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Cagliari while Juve are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Sassuolo and Juve currently occupy 10th and 4th spots in the table, with 46 points and 66 points respectively after 34 matches.

Neroverdi dominated the first half, with Giacomo Raspadori finding the net in the 39th minute. However, their lead was short lived, as Paulo Dybala equalised for The Old Lady just before half-time to see out the first half 1-1.

Juve continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Moise Kean just before the final whistle, which sealed the victory for the visitors.

For Sassuolo, Filip Djuricic, Gregoire Defrel and Matheus Henrique, came on for Hamed Junior Traoré, Domenico Berardi and Davide Frattesi. Juve replaced Giorgio Chiellini, Dusan Vlahovic, Moise Kean and Fabio Miretti with Daniele Rugani, Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata and Federico Bernardeschi.

There were bookings for Maxime Lopez and Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo. For Juve, Mattia De Sciglio and Moise Kean saw yellow.

Sassuolo will next play Napoli away, with Juve facing Venezia at home.
