AC Monza rolls over Sampdoria 3-0 on Sunday at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Sampdoria were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 2-1 to Spezia Calcio. ASS were coming off the back of a 1-0 win against Juventus. Sampdoria are now in 20th place on the table and have 2 points while ASS sit in 16th with 7 points after 8 matches.

ASS didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, when Matteo Pessina opened the rout, 11 minutes in, saw out the first half 1-0.

ASS continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, with a goal from Gianluca Caprari on the 67 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Stefano Sensi made it 3-0 just before the full time to make it 3-0.

Substitutions for Sampdoria included Fabio Quagliarella, Ronaldo Vieira, Andrea Conti, Valerio Verre and Ignacio Pussetto for Francesco Caputo, Gonzalo Villar, Bartosz Bereszynski, Filip Djuricic and Manolo Gabbiadini, respectively. ASS brought on Chris Gytkjaer, Samuele Birindelli, Giulio Donati, Marco D`Alessandro and Andrea Barberis, to replace Dany Mota, Armando Izzo, Patrick Ciurria, Matteo Pessina and Gianluca Caprari.

There were bookings for Jeison Murillo and Bartosz Bereszynski from Sampdoria, and Matteo Pessina and Dany Mota, for ASS.
