Salernitana 1-0 Spezia: Home fans enjoy victory at Stadio Arechi

Salernitana strolled past Spezia Calcio with a 1-0 win on Saturday at Stadio Arechi. Salernitana arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing their last match 2-0 to Internazionale. Spezia, meanwhile, were struggling for form following a draw in their last match. Salernitana are now in 9th place on the table and have 13 points while Spezia sit in 15th with 9 points after 11 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Salernitana certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, with an early goal from Pasquale Mazzocchi in the 48th minute. When the final whistle blew, the result was 1-0 to Salernitana.

Substitutions for Salernitana included Krzysztof Piatek, Domagoj Bradaric, Erik Botheim, Emil Bohinen and Dylan Bronn for Tonny Vilhena, Boulaye Dia, Federico Bonazzoli, Antonio Candreva and Norbert Gyomber, respectively. Spezia brought on Arkadiusz Reca, Daniele Verde, Daniel Maldini and David Strelec, to replace Kelvin Amian, Emmanuel Gyasi, Albin Ekdal and Ethan Ampadu.

There were bookings for Tonny Vilhena and Flavius Daniliuc from Salernitana, and Kelvin Amian, Jakub Kiwior, Kevin Agudelo and Emil Holm, for Spezia.

Salernitana will next travel to Lazio, while Spezia will face Fiorentina at home.
