Juventus 3-0 Sassuolo: The Old Lady humble Neroverdi in Turin

Sassuolo was humiliated by Juventus who enjoyed victory in her first match in the new Serie A season.

The first half of the match started well for Juve, when Angel Di Maria opened the rout, 26 minutes in. However they weren’t finished yet and Dusan Vlahovic made it 2-0 just before halftime, ending the first half 2-0.

The Old Lady started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, when Dusan Vlahovic found the net again at the 51 minute mark, leaving the final score at 3-0.

Substitutions for Juve included Filip Kostic, Mattia De Sciglio, Fabio Miretti, Matias Soule and Nicolo Rovella for Juan Cuadrado, Alex Sandro, Angel Di Maria, Weston McKennie and Manuel Locatelli, repectively. Sassuolo replaced Jeremy Toljan, Giacomo Raspadori, Andrea Pinamonti, Abdou Harroui and Emil Konradsen Ceide with Mert Muldur, Gregoire Defrel, Giorgos Kyriakopoulos, Kristian Thorstvedt and Davide Frattesi.

There were bookings for Manuel Locatelli from Juve. For Sassuolo, Kristian Thorstvedt, Gian Marco Ferrari and Matheus Henrique saw yellow.

In the second round of action in the Serie A Juve will travel to play Sampdoria and Sassuolo will play Lecce at home.
