Juve 1 – Bologna 1: The Old Lady denied all 3 points at the Allianz Stadium

On Saturday, Juve and Bologna were held to a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Stadium. Both Juve and Bologna arrived at the challenge after previous wins. Juve were looking to continue their run, following a 2-1 victory against Cagliari while Bologna were coming off the back of a 2-0 win against Sampdoria. As it stands, Juve and Bologna currently occupy 4th and 13th spots in the league, with 63 points and 38 points respectively after 33 matches.

After a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on Bologna who started the second half well, thanks to Marko Arnautovic finding the net, 52 minutes in. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Dusan Vlahovic equalised for Juve just before the final whistle. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

For Juve, Federico Bernardeschi, Denis Zakaria, Leonardo Bonucci, Moise Kean and Alex Sandro, came on for Paulo Dybala, Luca Pellegrini, Matthijs De Ligt, Juan Cuadrado and Giorgio Chiellini. Bologna brought on Musa Barrow, Denso Kasius, Michel Aebischer, Kevin Bonifazi and Nicolas Dominguez, to replace Marko Arnautovic, Roberto Soriano, Mattias Svanberg, Riccardo Orsolini and Denso Kasius.

The referee booked Juan Cuadrado from Juve. Bologna had the worst of it though, with Arthur Theate, Mattias Svanberg, Marko Arnautovic and Gary Medel seeing yellow, and Adama Soumaoro and Gary Medel then sent off with a red.

Juve will play away against Sassuolo, while Bologna will face Udinese at home.
