Having the lead in the Serie A is certainly a key factor for Juventus. However, Fiorentina will hope to make the most of home advantage at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

In this return fixture, Juventus travel to the match as Champions.

Fiorentina have so far accrued 59 points in this season of the Serie A

Another victory would be a terrific achievement, but that is what Vincenzo Italiano will be asking from his team, as they go into this game on the back of strong results after beating Sampdoria 4-1 and Roma 2-0

Also, Fiorentina need to get out of the losing habit, with four recorded in the last five fixtures. With a seventh position in the league and 18 wins, 14 losses and 5 draws, they currently have 59 points in the League having won 18 games, drawn five fixtures, and lost 14 matches.

When Fiorentina host Juve, they will do so on the back of 12 victories, two draws, and four defeats on their own ground.

Victory for Fiorentina would take their points tally to 62 so far this season.

Good Attacking Performance

This has been a good season so far for Fiorentina, in terms of goals scored (57). This has been largely down to the key attacking players: Lucas Torreira (4), Nicolas Gonzalez (4), and Cristiano Biraghi (3). Fiorentina have conceded 51 goals.

Fiorentina’s squad has depth, but even so, Vincenzo Italiano is likely to be missing two of they key players when they start Saturday’s game.

Juventus’ campaign so far has seen them accrue 70 points this season

Massimiliano Allegri’s men were held to a disappointing draw against Lazio in their last fixture, he will be keen to improve on that in this game.

Also, Juve keep finding ways to win, having secured 12 victories in their last 20 matches is astonishing this season, which is responsible for their Champion’s League qualification position. Now they have 20 matches won, 7 games lost and 10 duels drawn; that’s why they currently sit in fourth place, with a total of 70 points having won 20 meetings, drawn 10 fixtures, and lost seven games.

Juve’s away record is remarkable and poses a significant threat to Fiorentina. In the 18 games they’ve played on the road this season, they have so far won 10 fixtures, drawn five meetings, and lost three games.

A win in this fixture would take Juventus’s points to 73 in the League.

Good atacking and defensive team

It’s an easy statement to make, but to win you simply have to score more goals than your opponent. Juve have been consistently applying this principle, whilst remaining defensively solid as a unit this season, with 35 goals in their previous matches. Juve have a good scoring record this season, with 57 netted so far (56 from open play and one penalty). Their stand out attacking players have been Dusan Vlahovic (8), Alvaro Morata (4), and Paulo Dybala (4).

It is likely that six key players will miss Saturday’s fixture, which is something of a concern for Massimiliano Allegri and his Juve team.
