Cremonese 1-2 Torino: Visitors stay undefeated for the season with road win

Cremonese fell to a home defeat at the hands of Torino at Stadio Giovanni Zini on Saturday. USC were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Roma. Torino, on the other hand, secured a point against Lazio in their previous match. As the table looks today, USC are in 18th place in the table and have 0 points while Torino sit in 9th with 7 points after 3 matches.

The Bull started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Matteo Bianchetti gave Torino the lead, at 17 minutes, concluding the first half 1-0.

Torino continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Nemanja Radonjic, 65 minutes in. In the end though, USC in the 80th minute hit back though via a Leonardo Sernicola goal and saw the match end 2-1.

Substitutions for USC included Leonardo Sernicola, Cristian Buonaiuto, Santiago Ascacibar, Daniel Ciofani and Giacomo Quagliata for Jaime Baez, Luca Zanimacchia, Charles Pickel, Gonzalo Escalante and Emanuel Aiwu, repectively. Torino brought on Mergim Vojvoda, Koffi Djidji, Pietro Pellegri and Sasa Lukic, to replace Ola Aina, Alessandro Buongiorno, Antonio Sanabria and Nemanja Radonjic.

The referee booked three players from Torino, Ola Aina, Alessandro Buongiorno and Karol Linetty.

Torino and USC will next play away to Atalanta and Internazionale respectively.
