Nottingham Forest 1-0 West Ham: Cooper’s Forest secure win in first home match of the season

Nottingham Forest strolled past West Ham United with a 1-0 win on Sunday at the City Ground. Both sides came from defeats in their previous league game. Forest were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Newcastle United. The Hammers lost 2-0 in the last match they played against Manchester City. As the table looks today, Forest are in 10th place in the table and have 3 points while The Hammers sit in 19th with 0 points after 2 matches.

Forest started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with a goal from Taiwo Awoniyi just before halftime Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.
