Manchester United banked all three points against the West Ham United in a 1-0 victory on Sunday, at Old Trafford. Man U arrived with the intention of improving their league position following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Chelsea in their previous game. The Hammers, meanwhile, were able to continue their winning streak after a 2-0 win against Bournemouth in their last match. Man U are now in 5th place on the table and have 23 points while The Hammers sit in 13th with 14 points after 14 matches.

Man U started the match strongly, thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford in the 38th minute. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-0.

Substitutions for Man U included Scott Mctominay and Fred for Anthony Elanga and Christian Eriksen, respectively. The Hammers brought on Alphonse Areola, Michail Antonio and Pablo Fornals, to replace Lukasz Fabianski, Gianluca Scamacca and Flynn Downes.

There were bookings for Bruno Fernandes from Man U, and Gianluca Scamacca, Tomas Soucek and Thilo Kehrer, for The Hammers.

Man U will next play Aston Villa away, with The Hammers facing Crystal Palace at home.
