Seattle Sounders 3-0 Kansas: Wizards crumble under pressure from the Sounders

Seattle Sounders beat Sporting Kansas City with a thumping 3-0 victory on Saturday at CenturyLink Field. As things stand, Seattle are in 6th place in the table and have 23 points while Kansas sit in 13th with 16 points after 22 matches.

The Sounders found the net first, when Bruin opened the rout at the 8 minute mark, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.

Seattle continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Morris found the net, at 71 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Roldan made it 3-0, 76 minutes in to make it 3-0.

Substitutions for Seattle included Leo Chú, Cissoko, Montero, Medranda and Leyva for Bruin, Gómez, Lodeiro, Rowe and Rusnák, repectively. Kansas brought on Espinoza, Pierre, Sweat and Tzionis for Hernandez, Zusi, Ndenbe and Russell.

The referee booked Morris for Seattle.
