Seattle 1-2 Real Salt Lake: Brody earns Claret and Cobalt victory at CenturyLink Field

Seattle on home loss to Real Salt Lake at CenturyLink Field on Monday. As things stand, Seattle are in 9th place, with 32 points from 36 matches, while RSL sit in 5th, with 37 points from 36.

RSL started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Córdova gave RSL the lead at the 32 minute mark, saw out the first half 1-0.

Seattle took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Rusnák, 63 minutes in. Claret and Cobalt managed to edge ahead with a goal from Brody at the 64 minute mark. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 2-1 to RSL.

Substitutions for Seattle included Montero, Bruin, Rowe, Medranda and Leo Chú for Ruidíaz, Leyva, Roldan, Gómez and Roldan, repectively. RSL brought on Caldwell, Holt, Méndez, Julio Benitez and Hidalgo, to replace Löffelsend, Meram, Córdova, Savarino and Chang.

There were bookings for Gómez and Roldan from Seattle. For RSL, Chang and Ruiz saw yellow.
