Los Angeles FC’s 3-1 win over FC Dallas on Thursday, was hard fought at Banc of California Stadium. Los Angeles were looking to pick up points, following a 2-0 victory against Red Bulls. Dallas, on the other hand, secured a point against Austin in their previous match. Los Angeles started the match well, thanks to a goal from Danny Musovski in the 23rd minute. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Jesús Ferreira equalised for Dallas in the 38th minute to see out the first half 1-1.

Los Angeles rallied after this and were rewarded, when Arango found the net, 57 minutes in. The Black and Gold then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Opoku just before the final whistle to make it 3-1.

Substitutions for Los Angeles included Escobar, Opoku, Segura and Ginella for Hollingshead, Danny Musovski, Murillo and Cifuentes, repectively. Dallas brought on Ntsabeleng, Velasco, Nanu, Jara and Quignon, to replace Servania, Obrián, Twumasi, Pomykal and Cerrillo.
