Inter 1-2 Philadelphia Union: Union bank three points with composed performance

Philadelphia Union’s 2-1 win over Inter Miami on Thursday, was hard fought at Inter Miami CF Stadium. As the table looks today, Inter are in 11th place in the table and have 22 points while Union sit in 1st with 36 points after 28 matches.

Union started strongly in the first half, with a goal from Gazdag, at 21 minutes, saw out the first half 1-0.

Union continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Burke found the net at the 66 minute mark. In the end though, Inter, 82 minutes in hit back though via a Higuaín goal, leaving the final score at 2-1.

Substitutions for Inter included Sailor, Higuaín, Vassilev and Ulloa for Mabika, Rodríguez, Taylor and Mota, repectively. Union brought on Carranza, Sullivan and Aaronson, to replace Uhre, Burke and Gazdag.

There were bookings for Bryce Duke, Lowe and Sailor from Inter, and Bedoya, for Union.
