Colorado Rapids 1-1 Orlando: Honours even as Orlando hold out against the Rapids

COLO were held to 1-1 draw by Orlando down on Thursday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Following today’s result, COLO are in 13th place in the table and have 21 points while Orlando sit in 5th with 29 points after 28 matches.

The Lions started strongly in the first half, thanks to a goal from Torres, 22 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-0.

COLO took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Zardes at the 65 minute mark. The final result, COLO 1, Orlando 1.

Substitutions for COLO included Rubio, Barrios, Rosenberry and Darren Yapi for Warner, Nicholson, Beitashour and Lucas Esteves, repectively. Orlando brought on Pereyra, Schlegel, Perea and Halliday, to replace Pato, Akindele, Torres and Ruan.

There were bookings for Lucas Esteves, Abubakar, Jonathan Lewis, Wilson and Rosenberry from COLO. For Orlando, Pereyra, Júnior Urso and Halliday saw yellow.

COLO will play at home against LA Galaxy, while Orlando will face Atlanta United away.
