Nice 3-2 Troyes: The Eagles seal precious win at Allianz Rivera

Nice banked all three points against the Troyes in a 3-2 victory on Sunday, at Allianz Rivera. Nice arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing 2-1 to Paris Saint-Germain in their previous fixture. Troyes, meanwhile, had secured a point against Reims in their previous match. both teams are now on 11 points and sit in 13th and 12th places respectively after 10 matches.

Nice started the match strongly, with an early goal from Mattia Viti in the 2nd minute. The Eagles then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Andy Delort, 37 minutes in to see out the first half 2-0.

Nice fought back, with an early goal from Nicolas Pepe in the 50th minute. However, Troyes refused to lie down and managed to pull back a goal from Xavier Chavalerin on the 82 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Abdu Conte made it 3-2 just before the full time to give a final score of 3-2.

Substitutions for Nice included Jordan Lotomba, Ross Barkley, Pablo Rosario, Gaetan Laborde and Melvin Bard for Youcef Atal, Nicolas Pepe, Mario Lemina, Andy Delort and Joe Bryan, respectively. Troyes brought on Abdu Conte, Rony Lopes, Ike Ugbo, Xavier Chavalerin and Tristan Dingome, to replace Wilson Odobert, Erik Palmer-Brown, Renaud Ripart, Romenique Kouame and Florian Tardieu.

There were bookings for Joe Bryan from Nice, and Mama Balde, for Troyes.

Nice will next play Auxerre away, with Troyes facing AC Ajaccio at home.
