Also, suffering seven losses in 11 games is a terrible run of form for any club, Pascal Gastien’s Clermont will know this and will be hopeful of turning it around. With 36 points (9W, 19L and 9D), they are established in sixteenth position in the League having won nine fixtures, drawn nine meetings, and lost 19 fixtures.

When Clermont host Lyon, they will do so on the back of four wins, six darts, and eight losses on their own ground.

A victory for Clermont Foot would put them on 39 points.

Clermont are missing seven players through injury or illness. This will affect Pascal Gastien’s selection choices significantly.
