Lincoln City 1-1 Plymouth Argyle: Honours even at Sincil Bank

Lincoln City were helde ach other to a 1-1 draw by Plymouth Argyle on Saturday at Sincil Bank. Lincoln City were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 1-0 to Port Vale. Plymouth Argyle were coming from consecutive wins against Exeter City and Shrewsbury Town. Lincoln City are currently 13th with 23 points from 18 matches, while Plymouth Argyle sit in 1st, with 42 points from 18.

Plymouth Argyle started strongly in the first half, when Adam Randell found the net, at 31 minutes. However, their lead was short-lived, as Max Sanders equalised for Lincoln City just before half-time to see out the first half 1-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-1.

Substitutions for Lincoln City included Tashan Oakley-Boothe for Charles Vernam, respectively. Plymouth Argyle brought on Matt Butcher, Sam Cosgrove and Frederick Issaka, to replace Ryan Hardie, Bali Mumba and Niall Ennis.

The referee booked Jordan Houghton, Nigel Lonwijk and Adam Randell for Plymouth Argyle.

Lincoln City will play their next fixture at home against Morecambe FC, while Plymouth Argyle will face Burton Albion away.
