Cheltenham Town 1-0 Morecambe FC: Ben Williams goal lifts The Robins to victory

Cheltenham Town strolled past Morecambe FC with a 1-0 win on Tuesday at Jonny-Rocks Stadium. Cheltenham Town arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing 1-0 to Burton Albion in their last match. Morecambe FC, meanwhile, were looking to extend their winning run after a 1-0 victory against Barnsley. Cheltenham Town are now in 18th place on the table and have 17 points while Morecambe FC sit in 24th with 11 points after 16 matches.

Cheltenham Town started strongly in the first half, when Ben Williams found the net, 35 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Cheltenham Town included George Lloyd and Christian Norton for Daniel N`Lundulu and Charlie Brown, respectively. Morecambe FC replaced Ryan Delaney, Jensen Weir, Cole Stockton, Ousmane Fane and Liam Gibson for Arthur Gnahoua, Dylan Edward Connolly, Caleb Watts, Shane McLoughlin and Adam Major.

The referee booked three players from Morecambe FC, Dylan Edward Connolly, Farrend Rawson and Ousmane Fane.

Cheltenham Town will play their next fixture at home against Milton Keynes Dons, while Morecambe FC will face Wycombe Wanderers away.
