Girona 1-1 Osasuna: All even as hosts fight back against Los Rojillos
Girona were helde ach other to a 1-1 draw by Osasuna on Sunday at Estadi Montilivi. Girona arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing 3-2 to Almería in their last match whilst Osasuna were able to continue their winning streak after a 1-0 win against Espanyol in their last match. Girona are currently 17th with 9 points from 11 matches, while Osasuna sit in 8th, with 17 points from 11.
It was an impressive opening from Osasuna, when Kike Barja gave them the lead on the 37 minute mark. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as David Lopez equalised for Girona just before half-time, finishing the first half 1-1. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-1.
