Milan 2-0 Juve: Tomori goal helps Rossoneri sink the Old Lady

AC Milan strolled past Juventus with a 2-0 win on Saturday at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Both Milan and Juve arrived on the back of wins. Milan were keen to hang onto their position at the top of the table and extend their winning run, following a 3-1 victory against Empoli. Juve were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-0 victory against Bologna. Milan and Juve currently occupy 2nd and 8th spots in the league, with 20 points and 13 points respectively after 9 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Rossoneri, when Fikayo Tomori gave them the lead just before half-time

Milan fought back, when Brahim Diaz found the net in the 54th minute so at full time it was 2-0 to Milan.

Substitutions for Milan included Rade Krunic, Ante Rebic, Charles De Ketelaere, Aster Vranckx and Divock Origi for Tommaso Pobega, Olivier Giroud, Brahim Diaz, Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao, respectively. Juve brought on Weston McKennie, Leandro Paredes, Fabio Miretti, Moise Kean and Matias Soule, to replace Juan Cuadrado, Manuel Locatelli, Filip Kostic, Dusan Vlahovic and Adrien Rabiot.

There were bookings for Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonali from Milan. For Juve, Juan Cuadrado, Moise Kean and Leandro Paredes saw yellow.

Next up, Milan are away to Hellas Verona, whilst Juve will travel to face Torino.
