West Brom 0 – Coventry 0: Frustration all round after goal-less draw

Saturday’s fixture between West Brom and Coventry delivered a goalless draw at The Hawthorns. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. West Brom were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Nottingham Forest. Coventry lost 3-0 in the last match they played against Bournemouth. As it stands, West Brom are in 13th place on the table and has 61 points while Coventry sit in 11th with 63 points after 44 matches.

For West Brom, Matthew Phillips, Grady Diangana and Callum Robinson, came on for Taylor Gardner-Hickman, Jayson Molumby and Conor Townsend. Coventry brought on Martyn Waghorn and Liam Kelly, to replace Callum O`Hare and Gustavo Hamer.

There were bookings for Dara O’Shea from West Brom. For Coventry, Kyle McFadzean saw yellow.

West Brom will next travel to Reading, while Coventry will face Huddersfield Town at home.
