Saturday’s fixture between Wolfsburg and Hertha delivered a goalless draw at the Volkswagen Arena. Both Wolfsburg and Hertha came from defeats in their previous league games. Wolfsburg arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to Bochum. Hertha were beaten 3-1 in the previous match against FC Köln. As the table looks today, Wolfsburg are in 14th place, with 21 points from 19 matches, while Hertha sit in 13th, with 22 points from 19.

Both coaches used all available substitutions. For Wolfsburg, Aster Vranckx, Dodi Lukebakio and Felix Nmecha, came on for Renato Steffen, Luca Waldschmidt and Yannick Gerhardt, Hertha brought on Davie Selke, Dedryck Boyata and Lucas Tousart to replace Myziane Maolida, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp and Santiago Ascacibar.

There were bookings for Renato Steffen from Wolfsburg, and Lukas Klunter, for Hertha.

Wolfsburg will next travel to RB Leipzig, while Hertha will face Bayern Munich at home.
