Arminia 0 – Bayern 3: The Reds stun The Blues at home

Bayern Munich delivered a resounding 3-0 victory against Arminia on Sunday, at the Schüco Arena. Arminia were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 4-0 to Wolfsburg. Bayern were coming from consecutive wins against Augsburg and SC Freiburg. As it stands, Arminia and Bayern sit 17th, (26 points) and 1st, (72 points), in the table respectively, after 30 matches.

Bayern started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with Jacob Laursen opening the rout, 10 minutes in. However they weren’t finished yet and Serge Gnabry made it 2-0 just before half-time. The score at half time was 0-2.

The Reds continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Jamal Musiala finding the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 3-0.

For Arminia, George Bello, Sebastian Vasiliadis, Robin Hack and Gonzalo Castro, came on for Jacob Laursen, Fabian Kunze, Janni Serra and Alessandro Schopf. Bayern replaced Josip Stanisic, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Gabriel Vidovic with Nianzou Tanguy Kouassi, Thomas Muller, Marcel Sabitzer, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.

There were bookings for Fabian Kunze from Arminia, and Nianzou Tanguy Kouassi and Joshua Kimmich, for Bayern.

Arminia will next travel to FC Köln, while Bayern will face Borussia Dortmund at home.
