Juve 0-1 America: Pedrinho goal secures the points for Visitors

America Mineiro strolled past Juventude with a 1-0 win on Saturday at Alfredo Jaconi. Juve were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last match 1-0 to Red Bull Bragantino. America were coming from consecutive wins against Avai and Atlético Goianense. As it stands, Juve are in 20th place, with 16 points from 21 matches, while America sit in 9th, with 27 points from 21.

America scored first, when Pedrinho gave America the lead, 8 minutes in to take them into the break 1-0 up. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Juve included Yuri Lima, Vítor Leque, Edinho, Ricardo Bueno and Felipe Pires for Marlon, Oscar Ruiz, Vitor Gabriel, Bruno Nazario and Edinho, repectively. America brought on Matheusinho, Wellington Paulista, Indio Ramirez, Arthur Augusto De Matos Soares and Ricardo Silva, to replace Martin Benitez, Henrique Almeida, Felipe Azevedo, Pedrinho and Lucas Kal.

There were bookings for Chico from Juve, and Lucas Kal and Arthur Augusto De Matos Soares, for America.

Juve will play their next fixture away against Cuiaba, while America will face Santos FC at home.
