Central Córdoba enjoyed a mesmerising home victory against Boca at Estadio Alfredo Terrera on Monday. Central Córdoba wanted to improve their league standing after a 1-1 draw against Barracas Central. Boca had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 2-1 victory against Arsenal de Sarandi. Following today’s result, Central Córdoba are in 4th place, with 4 points from 2 matches, while Boca sit in 12th, with 3 points from 2.

After an uneventful first half, Central Córdoba applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Francisco Gonzalez at the 56 minute mark. They managed to see the match out with a clean sheet and a final score of 1-0.
