CA Tigre 0-1 Banfield: Visitors secure points with a late winner at Estadio Jose Dellagiovanna

Banfield’s 1-0 win over CA Tigre on Sunday, was hard fought at Estadio Jose Dellagiovanna. CA Tigre were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last match 5-3 to Boca. Banfield were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-1 victory against Central Córdoba SDE. Following today’s result, CA Tigre are in 18th place, with 4 points from 4 matches, while Banfield sit in 4th, with 7 points from 4.

After a goalless first half, Banfield continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Jesus Datolo, 82 minutes in. The match ended with a 1-0 victory for the visitors.

Substitutions for CA Tigre included Lucas Menossi, Ijiel Protti, Ezequiel Forclaz and Pablo Magnin for Sebastian Prediger, Facundo Colidio, Javier Agustin Obando and Cristian Zabala, repectively.
