CA Tigre 3-0 Aldosivi: Tigre continue surge of form with easy home victory

CA Tigre suffered an away loss to CA Tigre on Saturday at Estadio Jose Dellagiovanna. CA Tigre were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches in the competition. The most recent was against the Gimnasia La Plata away (1-0), the other to Vélez Sarsfield at home (2-0). Aldosivi were beaten 3-0 in their previous match against Central Córdoba. CA Tigre and Aldosivi are 6th, (33 points) and 28th, (13 points), spots respectively, after 22 matches.

The first half of the match started well for CA Tigre, when Blas Armoa opened the rout, at 14 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Mateo Retegui made it 2-0, 19 minutes in to secure a 2-0 win.

CA Tigre continued to pile on the pressure in the second half and were rewarded, when Mateo Retegui found the net once more after 61 minutes. The match ended with a 3-0 home victory.

Substitutions for CA Tigre included Brian Leizza, Sebastian Prediger, Martin Ortega, Pablo Magnin and Ijiel Protti for Victor Cabrera, Lucas Blondel, Facundo Colidio, Mateo Retegui and Blas Armoa, respectively. Aldosivi brought on Santiago Silva, Matias Pisano, Maciel, Tomas Martinez and Joaquin Indacoechea, to replace Leandro Maciel, Facundo Tobares, Matias Morello, Emanuel Iniguez and Marcelo Meli.

The referee booked three players from Aldosivi, Mario Lopez, Marcelo Meli and Emanuel Iniguez.

CA Tigre will next play CA Sarmiento away, with Aldosivi facing Barracas C. at home.
